The application of reflective materials in identification industry is started in the early 80s in China. Since then with the development of China's reflective material industry gradually enlarging, the range of application wildly involves the department of public security traffic, transportation supervision, fire, railway , coal mine and so on. And people began to use it in the fields of labor protection articles which ensures the personal safety and civilian industry products.
After 90s, the domestic reflective material market began to the right track, and the application range of products is more and more wide, and the profession division is more and finer. The related departments develop international standards or industrial standards distinguishly to the different uses of reflective materials, such as national professional standard EN-47l (high visible warning clothes), "Road traffic signs reflective film" and so on. Europe and United States and other western developed countries regard the standard use of reflective materials as one of the important criteria for insurance compensation, for example, under the environment with poor view discrimination ability, like rain, fog, snow and night, the old and children go out must wear symbols or dress clothing with reflective material.
